CEC Staff Spotlight – Mairead
We’re starting a new series of posts this week called CEC Staff Spotlight.
Today we’re shining a spotlight on our receptionist Mairead Dennehy.
Mairead graduated from UCC with a commerce degree and, and then wound up moving to Thailand at the beginning of the pandemic where she taught English until she joined us here in CEC.
Likes: Mairead loves reading, her favorite author is Colleen Hoover and she also loves traveling of course. She spends her free time visiting her family in Kerry, and her friends in London and loves a good weekend city break.
Why a receptionist? More than reading, and traveling, Mairead loves people! She’s one of the most sociable members of the team and is the friendliest face our new students could possibly see on a Monday morning.
One thing to love about Cork: The Lough Café on a Saturday morning!
