Virtual OET Preparation

Virtual OET Preparation

Virtual OET Preparation course is designed to provide optimal preparation for candidates who wish to take the OET exam – an internationally recognised English language test that assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register and practise in an English-speaking environment.

On the course, participants become familiar with the format of the exam and develop test-taking techniques, while at the same time work on improving specific language areas relevant to the OET exam. The CEC Virtual OET Preparation course deals with language required to facilitate communication in a professional healthcare environment; classroom tasks simulate real workplace scenarios in healthcare contexts.

Before starting the course, participants must complete a needs analysis form. This gives the CEC team valuable information about each participant’s individual needs and enables us to effectively meet their requirements.

All classes are 100% live with a CEC teacher who is experienced in OET.

CEC is also an official OET Test Centre. Candidates can register to sit the OET Exam at one of CEC’s monthly test-days. Each course will consist of four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) plus one full Practice Exam Session.

This course is for students who wish to:

  • Develop their English skills through the lens of the medical industry
  • Develop test-taking techniques
  • Prepare fully for one, more or all modules for the OET exam
  • Cover specific language areas and modules needed to become proficient for the exam

“With the assistance of the CEC community – its compassionate teachers, activity leaders, administrative personnel as well as my inspiring classmates – I managed to raise my proficiency of English from a B2 to a solid C1. Above all, I always had a good time.”
