Accommodation

Finding the right accommodation to suit you is an integral part of attending CEC. Every individual has different needs, which is why we have such a wide range to choose from. You can stay with a host family or in a self-catering apartment. You can check into a hotel or take a room in a B&B. We carefully select our accommodation providers and you can trust that they have all passed our rigorous selection procedure. All you have to do is let us know what you want and we’ll take care of the rest.

HOST FAMILY ACCOMMODATION

Available all year

Our students have the option to stay with carefully selected host families. Our accommodation officer visits each family to ensure that they are of the standard that is required by CEC to host foreign students. The families are selected on the basis of a friendly atmosphere, good food, and clean comfortable surroundings.

RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS

May 29th – August 14th

Our Residential apartments are self-catering and consist of 5 or 6 bedrooms, with a shared kitchen. Each student has their own bathroom facilities. Bed linen can be hired from the apartments but students must bring their own towels. All kitchen utensils, crockery etc. are provided and laundry facilities are available.

CEC APARTMENTS (2/3 BED)

Available all year

We have two-bedroom apartments ideally located in the city centre. These apartments offer both comfort and privacy in the heart of Cork city centre and are ideal for students who desire the convenience of city living.

HOTELS, BED AND BREAKFAST, GUESTHOUSES AND HOSTELS

Available all year

Whatever your preference, we work with a wide selection of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and B&B’s throughout Cork.

“With the assistance of the CEC community – its compassionate teachers, activity leaders, administrative personnel as well as my inspiring classmates – I managed to raise my proficiency of English from a B2 to a solid C1. Above all, I always had a good time.”

I will always keep a nice memory of the month spent in Cork, and this thanks to CEC, which in addition to letting me deepen my English, made me discover breathtaking places and meet unforgettable people.
