For over 48 years, Cork English College has worked closely with trusted host families in Cork City and surrounding suburbs, providing safe, welcoming homes for international students studying English in Ireland.

As a family-run language school, we place great importance on building long-term relationships with our host families. We take the time to understand your household, preferences, and availability so we can offer hosting arrangements that suit your lifestyle.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A HOST FAMILY?

CEC is always looking for new host families to accommodate International students.

Hosting international students is a rewarding way to:

  • Earn extra income from your own home

  • Welcome young people from different cultures

  • Support students during their short-term stay in Ireland

We provide a complete host family support system, including:

  • Dedicated and experienced accommodation staff

  • Ongoing guidance and training

  • A 24/7 emergency support number for peace of mind

No previous hosting experience is required.

BENEFITS ARE:

We’re currently recruiting for new host families for juniors and adults throughout the year. We offer competitive rates and 24/7 support for host families.

Full training & 24/7 support provided
Short 1 to 2 week stays
Up to three students per household.
Earn up to €600 p/w
Flexibility to accommodate on a short or long term.
All families receive monthly fee for hosting.
