Friday- Visit to: Cobh & The Titanic Museum
There are only 25 spaces available for the visit to the museum so please pay at reception before Thursday at 2:30pm!
We will take the bus and visit the beautiful town of Cobh, the cathedral, and the Titanic Museum.
The construction of Saint Coleman’s Cathedral began 1868 and was completed in 1919. It is the tallest church in Ireland and the tower contains a carillon which, with 49 bells, is one of the largest in Europe.
Titanic Experience Cobh is located in Casement Square in the heart of Cobh Town. The museum building is the original White Star Line Ticket Office (where people bought their tickets for the Titanic and boarded the boats that took them directly to the Titanic), a building steeped in history dating back to the early 19th century and the departure point for many thousands of White Star Line passengers.
When you arrive, check-in with us at reception and let us tell you the story of those 123 passengers that boarded the Titanic in Cobh.
Cobh was the last port of call for the Titanic before its tragic sinking on the way to America.
