WHO IS IT FOR?
COURSE OBJECTIVES
ACCOMMODATION
Achieve the OET score you need with our distinctive online programme, giving you the language skills, test techniques and strategies you need to achieve a high score in each of the four OET papers; Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. The OET Test was developed for 12 healthcare professions.
Reach OET B Nursing is excellent preparation for the OET Nursing Paper. The OET is a clinical English test recognised by government healthcare bodies to assess the medical English skills of international professionals, including doctors, nurses, dentists, and allied health professionals. It is widely used globally, and you can use the OET to prove your level of English when registering with the NMC or GMC to work in the UK and Ireland.
This self-study course is dynamic and interactive, with multiple activities, video and audio inputs, expert insights and plenty of test practice. And it’s online, so you can study when you want, where you want.
Reach OET B is for practising professionals at B2 level or above who need to achieve certification to register with the relevant health authority.
At the end of this English course, you can expect to:

We helpfully provide accommodation options to students who come to us in here in Cork. But as this is an online-only course, you won’t be needing that!

What type of activities can I look forward to?
We endeavour to cater for most tastes when it comes to activities, so we provide a wide choice, ranging from cultural visits to historic places of interest, to sports and lively night out. We want to make sure that you enjoy yourselves while you’re studying.
How will I get to the school?
All of our accommodation is either within easy walking distance of the school or within easy reach by public transport.
Where is the school located?
The school is located right in the heart of Cork, on the banks of the river Lee, but we’ll keep you too busy to admire the view! It is also within close walking distance of Cork’s main bus terminus and railway station.
Who else will be studying there?
We have students from all over the world studying with us, which adds greatly to the friendly atmosphere. So far in 2023 we have had over 40 different nationalities study with us already!
Can I change my accommodation if I don’t like it?
Yes, our aim is to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible during your stay in Cork. If you have any issue with your accommodation we can arrange for you to speak with our dedicated accommodation office to find a solution.
What type of accommodation can I expect?
What type of accommodation would you like? We have a full range of options from living with a host family to self-catering apartments and hotels.
Will I be able to use the internet and email?
Yes, we have high speed Wi-Fi available for all students in each of our school buildings.
Will I get a certificate at the end of my course?
Yes, we’re a fully accredited and recognised school. You’ll receive a certificate of attendance at the end of your programme stating your exit level, course title and number of weeks. Don’t forget to get your photo taken with your certificate on your last day!
