金賽爾和查爾斯堡

This Friday we are going to visit the famous Charlesfort.

Charles Fort is a massive star-shaped structure of the late 17th century, well preserved despite its history. Its dimensions are awe-inspiring – some of the outer defences are 16 metres high.

The view from the ramparts looking out over Kinsale Harbour is spectacular.

After visiting the fort, we will visit the beautiful coastal town of Kinsale, which is famous for it beautifully coloured houses and incredible seafood!
