We will Go for a walk in the woods at Glengarriff Nature Reserve, please wear appropiate shoes for walking/hiking. Also, bring a raincoat in case the weather changes!

Glengarriff has the rugged beauty of the mountains and wooded valleys surrounding the village. Situated between mountains and overlooking beautiful Bantry Bay magnificent views of the Caha Mountains can be seen from the numerous viewpoints along the roads by the coastline or winding along the steep-sided valleys.

Bantry House and Garden is a stately home situated on the Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Bantry Bay in the southwest of Ireland. The House has been home to the White family since 1739 and was opened to the public in 1946. There is an important private collection of furniture and art. The estate has beautiful gardens, which were restored in 1997.
