*Please note that we will meet at CEC and walk to the stadium. It is a 50 minute walk each way.

Join us for an evening of hurling this Thursday in Pairc Ui Rinn Stadium, Cork. 

This is Round 2 of the Intermediate Hurling Championship, with both teams after winning their first round games they will both be battling it out for the win in order to progress through to the next round. It promises to be an exciting game!

What Is Hurling?

Hurling is an electrifying Irish field sport—one of the fastest in the world. Players wield a wooden stick called a hurley to strike a small ball, the sliotar, attempting to score either over the crossbar for a point or into the net for a goal. It blends elements of hockey, lacrosse, and baseball but plays out at breakneck speed with grit, finesse, and Irish passion.
