What’s happening at the festival?
The festival is packed with exciting events that will appeal to all literary tastes. Here are some highlights:
• Meet the authors – Get up close and personal with renowned writers from Ireland and beyond. Hear them read from their works, share their creative journeys and discuss the power of storytelling. Expect fascinating discussions with Irish novelists like Kathleen Murray and Lisa Harding in a session called Beautiful, Wilful & Adrift (Saturday April 26, 7pm, Triskel, 5€)
• Interactive Workshops – Want to sharpen your writing skills or explore new forms of creativity? Join workshops like Friendship Crafts with Laurie Legrand (Tuesday April 22, 11am, City Library, free), where you can express yourself through art and storytelling. Sign up here.
• Live Performances – Experience literature in a whole new way! One of the must-see events Buile Shuibhne: Sweeney’s Madness (Saturday April 26, 8:30pm, Triskel, 5€), a multimedia performance that blends modern Irish and Scottish Gaelic poetry with music and visuals. Sign up here.
