Our new online General English self-study package is adapted to your lifestyle and your needs. The package affords you 24/7 learning, when and where you want. Improve your overall English at a pace that suits you.

Whether you are travelling, dining out, dealing with an issue or simply making conversation with a friend, our General English self-study course is intended to make you more proficient in everyday English situations and activities.

This course is for anyone who wants to improve their general standard of English in an easy-to-learn way, from the comfort of their own home, office, coffee shop, or anywhere!

At the end of this English course, you can expect to:

  • Greet people, socialise and make plans
  • Describe things and explain yourself
  • Make offers and requests in a polite manner
  • Express what you like and dislike
  • Ask for and make recommendations
  • Discuss a wide range of topics and areas

We helpfully provide accommodation options to students who come to us in here in Cork. But as this is an online-only course, you won’t be needing that!

What type of activities can I look forward to?

We endeavour to cater for most tastes when it comes to activities, so we provide a wide choice, ranging from cultural visits to historic places of interest, to sports and lively night out. We want to make sure that you enjoy yourselves while you’re studying. Further to that, we can organise weekends away and arrange car hire if necessary.

How will I get to the school?

All of our accommodation is either within easy walking distance of the school or within easy reach by public transport.

Where is the school located?

The school is located right in the heart of Cork, on the banks of the river Lee, but we’ll keep you too busy to admire the view! It is also within close walking distance of Cork’s main bus terminus and railway station.

Who else will be studying there?

We have students from all over the world studying with us, which adds greatly to the friendly atmosphere.

Can I change my accommodation if I don’t like it?

Yes, our aim is to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible during your stay in Cork. It’s very rare for students to dislike their accommodation.

What type of accommodation can I expect?

What type of accommodation would you like? We have a full range of options from living with a host family to self-catering apartments and hotels.

Will I be able to use the internet and email?

Yes, the internet and email are available every afternoon to all students.

Will I get a certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, we’re a fully accredited and recognised school. You’ll receive official recognition of your achievement.
